I’m Thiago Silva, a Brazilian filmmaker, content creator and creative director based in New Zealand. My relationship with visual storytelling began long before it became my profession.

Growing up in Porto Alegre, I was always surrounded by my father’s cameras. What started with capturing everyday moments on my first Sony Cyber-shot later developed through my studies in Advertising and my early work with SOLTO Magazine, documenting action sports, fashion, music, food and culture.

After moving to New Zealand, new landscapes, people and experiences expanded the way I saw and created images. Photography naturally grew into filmmaking as I began using drones and action cameras to document outdoor sports, friends and the environments around me.
